We are looking for an Institutional Sales Associate to support our growing healthcare franchise.
Passionate about healthcare and financial markets, the ideal candidate has had exposure to both the healthcare and investment industries. Working alongside two experienced institutional salespeople, the individual will have broad exposure to both generalist and healthcare specialist accounts across North America.
Support all institutional sales functions, including account coverage, roadshow schedules and database management
Preparation of sales notes and deal summaries
Help plan and attend investor events and outreach. Willingness to travel 10 to 20% of the time.
Search for and catalogue investor targets using traditional and online sources
Maintain integrity of contact information in Salesforce CRM system
Create client and management presentations
Populate investor summaries for client deliverables
Assist our equity research team with distribution list maintenance
Trade desk support
Minimum 3-5 years work experience in the investment and/or healthcare industries
Minimum Undergraduate degree in Sciences. An additional degree or specialization in Business or enrollment in the CFA program an asset
Completion of CSC and CPH will be required
Exceptional integrity, ethics and maturity along with an ability to interact with colleagues with the highest professional standards
Advanced knowledge and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint in particular;
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
High attention to detail and commitment to high quality work product
Proven time management skills to facilitate the completion of multiple tasks in parallel in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment
Willingness to learn and high intellectual curiosity
